Confronting Leroy
Leroy felt his heart race as Agent Geoth laid down three pictures in front of him. He studied the images carefully, trying to make sense of what he was seeing. The first picture was of a trash bag, the second of the money he had found, and the third of a large building. He couldn’t help but wonder what the significance of these images was, and why the agents were showing them to him.
As Agent Geoth spoke, Leroy tried to keep his cool, knowing that his answers could have serious consequences. “Do you recognize anything, Leroy?” he asked, his voice cold and emotionless.
Leroy studied the images for a moment longer, trying to find any clue that might help him understand what was going on. But as he looked closer, he realized that he didn’t recognize any of them. They were just pictures to him, nothing more. “I’m sorry, sir, but I don’t recognize any of these things,” he said, his voice shaking slightly.
But the agents didn’t seem satisfied with his answer. They continued to stare at him with their piercing gazes, their eyes seeming to bore into him. Leroy felt a sense of unease wash over him, knowing that he was in deep trouble. He didn’t know what was going on, but he had a feeling that it wasn’t good.
